Trust Not In Oppression

Today's verse is Psalm 62:10
     Trust not in oppression,
And become not vain in robbery:
If riches increase, set not your heart upon them.

As I just read: Trust not in oppression, my thought was on the one oppressed, and the command meant for him, as in Who art thou, that that shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die. And in the context of the previous verse, it would seem to be a valid interpretation. Yet, from what follows, it is also to the oppressor, as in oppress not, steal not, and trust not in riches. For all power belongs to God, and he will render to every man according to his work. Will yours burn, or shine forth? Amen.

To God be the Glory
Scott
