Commanded To Preach The Gospel

Today's verse is Acts 10:42-43
And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.
To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

The Apostles as we see here had been commanded to preach the Good News, that as God had promised since the beginning of the World, Jesus Christ, to save sinners from the penalty of their sin, suffered the death of the Cross, then on the Third Day, Rose up, showing all the World by the testimony of his servants that he is able to save any and all from their sin. This commandment to testify has been passed down to us who also believe, that all may know, and those that will hear, may also believe, that the Great God and our Saviour may be Glorified in us that have recieved him. Will you also obey and speak up? Amen.

Can You Hear?

Today's verse is Mark 4:33
And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it.

Here is the question! Do you have ears to hear? Consider this lament from Jeremiah: The prophets prophecy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof? As it was then, so it appears to be now. Are you with diligence seeking to know God’s true Word? Are you asking the Spirit of God to give you the understanding of it? Or are you happy with the lies the false prophets give you, even as those that lived in Jeremiah’s day? Do you remember, or know what happened to them? But God is gracious and kind, and his hand is stretched out still. Will you come? Amen.

Responding To Those That Seek A Cause Against You

Today's verse is Mark 3:2
And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.

What did Jesus do when he knew that those about him, would accuse him for doing right? He did RIGHT. He did the very thing they hoped he would do, rebuking those that had their evil intentions. And they, after their evil hearts, did as they were inclined, and began to seek a way to destroy The Saviour, which would lead them to placing Him on the Cross, even as he had already planned and foretold through his prophets. We that fear God, can we do any less? Focus not what others will say, but focus on doing that which will please God according to his Word. And if opportunely is given as Jesus did, give instruction, and rebuke the thinking of those blinded by their wicked ways (who knows, one might repent) knowing that whatever they do, God has already worked it together for good, according to his Purpose. So, as Jeremiah prayed, Be not a terror unto me: thou art my hope in the day of evil. Will you also Hope, and Trust in the Lord your God. Amen.

God Sees This World, And Its Sin

Today's verse is Jeremiah 16:17
For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.

In my nation, crime is reported to be rampant, and appears to be condoned, while those that stand up for wholesome ways are persecuted, even prosecuted, and this is happening not only here, but in other nations around the world. Know that God sees, and as he has promised in his Word, he is storing up his Wrath, to be poured out during the time of Jacob’s Trouble. Such a time as that, God has said is the third Woe. But even in such a time as this, those that have been called by His Name, those that have known the forgiveness by the Blood of Christ, even now have been called to live soberly, righteously, and godly, till our God and Saviour calls us Home before that terrible day, when his Judgment shall fall upon the Earth. Will you so testify of the Love of God that he has provided you, but not only you, but of all your neighbours, which know not God, nor his ways, nor the blessed news of the Gospel, that they might see, and be convicted, and convinced that God is, and that he is a rewarder of all them that diligently seek him. Amen.

Forsaking Peer Pressure

Today's verse is Jeremiah 15:19
Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt ustand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them.

Have you not heard the command: Ye shall be holy, for I am holy? It is by this principle that God so gives the command we see above to Jeremiah. For when we choose to follow the Most Holy God, then we ought to choose him above all else, above all others, yea above wife, or children, mother or father, close friend and neighbour (Is he not worthy) as we seek to follow him and his ways. Let them be affected by you, let not them affect you to cause you to stubble from the way your Saviour has shown you, not returning from the way he saved you from, nor them that walk in it, but allow them to follow after you and come to you as you introduce them to the same One that Saved you. And so shall you take the precious from the vile. Amen.

Will You Fulfill Your Commission?

Today's verse is Matthew 28:19-20
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Do you Know Jesus Christ? Have you found Redemption through His shed blood? Have you not heard that he that tries to save his life shall lose it? Do you know that he that is ashamed of Jesus Christ, the same shall be ashamed of him? you may not be a teacher, you may not even be a preacher, but your Saviour has given to you his Spirit, and by his Spirit, can you not tell your neighbour how you found Jesus Christ? Consider this prayer request of Paul, And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. Will you pray this for yourself, and Trust in God and his Spirit to guide you and enable you each time you encounter your neighbours? Amen.

Why Does Not God Accept Me?

Today's verse is Joshua 24:19
And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.

Wait, what does Joshua mean, that we cannot serve the Lord, that he will not forgive our Sins: Did not Jesus die upon the Cross for this very purpose? Notice the two attributes that Joshua recognized in the Most Holy God, that he his Holy, and that he is Jealous! Constantly and forever, all of mankind continually attempts to come to God on their own terms--Did not Cain offer the fruit of his own labour? But, if we are to serve God, if we are to approach God, we must come to him, not by our terms, but his. Have we not been told that God Is, and is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him? We have been commanded to be holy, for/as He is Holy! And we have been commanded to be Perfect, for/as He is Perfect. These things are impossible to the natural man, so we must first Accept the Gift of Redemption through Jesus Christ who died for us, rising up the Third day to redeem us from our Sins, then surrender to His Spirit, whom he has given to us to dwell with us that by Him we are enabled not only to understand his Word, but to walk according to it, that our way might be conformable to his Way. Amen.

Fail Not To Love God

Today's verse is Joshua 23:10-11
One man of you shall chase a thousand: for the LORD your God, he it is that fighteth for you, as he hath promised you.
Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the LORD your God.

This promise is to Israel, for they have been called upon to fight, to clear their land, their inheritance, the land flowing with milk and honey. But we, as the body of Christ, have been given different weapons, for we have been called to bear witness of the Love God has for all of mankind. But the power of these promises are the same, for we must Love the Lord our God with all of our Heart, our Soul, and all of our Mind. If we but do this (do not think it easy) We shall see things that we cannot even Imagine. Will you seek him out today? Amen.

Is It Too Late To Pray

Today's verse is Jeremiah 11:14
Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.

God’s Word had been found, and King Josiah feared, and rightly so, and asked what should be done. And so they went, unto one Huldah the prophetess, who told them there was no hope, but that the King would die in peace, but he did not. Why did they not go to Jeremiah? Had not his ministry started more then five years before? And what did Jeremiah have to say on this matter? Did he not say, Obey the voice of the Lord, but they did not! Now, Peter has told us that the written Word is more sure than even the Voice he heard on the Mount of Transfiguration. God’s Word is sure. God’s Word is everlasting. God’s Word can be found, and by his Spirit, God’s Word can be understood, but woe unto them that change it! So, go and seek out the true Word of God, and by the direction and the power of the Spirit of God strive to obey it. For if we do this not, will it be too late to pray to receive the Mercy and Grace God has for us? Amen.

Be Not Dismayed

Today's verse is Jeremiah 10:2
     Thus saith the LORD,
Learn not the way of the heathen,
      And be not dismayed at the signs of heaven;
For the heathen are dismayed at them.

This last week, twice have I looked at current events, and have seen evidence that the Judgment of the Lord God is coming. We may, with God, be grieved. For does not God, himself, hate the death of the wicked, but we need not, and should not be dismayed, because we know that the Judgment of God is coming, but even in judgment our God provides a path of redemption, first to his Chosen People, the children of Israel, but also to all those that have not yet heard, therefore, had not rejected the Blessed Gospel, that is the good news, that Christ came to Redeem Sinners from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Therefore, let us speak up, not ashamed of the one that made us and Redeemed us, to his Honor and Glory, for it is not yet too late for others to hear, and Repent, and join us when our Savior comes to deliver us from the time of the Lord’s Wrath. Amen.

Praising God For His Mighty Acts

Today's verse is Psalm 150:6
Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD.
      Praise ye the LORD.

Today, I am going to praise God for some strange things. For as God has said, so it is. We are seeing wickedness run rampant in the Earth. As Jesus Christ had said, We saw a plague spread fear throughout the whole world, and by his Word, we can expect more. I heard recently that America is no longer the breadbasket of the world, coupled with the war between Russia and Ukraine, famine will only become more widespread. And speaking of War, not only is there reason to fear the third World War, but the various tribes, all the Sons of Noah, are all rising up, one against another, with the sons of Japheth being the favorite for all to oppress (after the Chosen People of God) in the name of having been oppressed. For all these things I will Praise God for, because by these things I know we must still Watch. For if these things are happening as He Had Said, so too will be his Return. Are you Watching, are you ready to hear the Trump of God (not Donald) when all those that are sealed by the Spirit of God shall be removed, then shall that Wicked one be revealed. And as you are Watching, are you striving by that same Spirit of Christ to live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. Selah [Let us be found praising God for his terrible judgments] Amen.

Do You Know Whom The Christ Is?

Today's verse is Matthew 22:43-46
He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,
The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?

I once asked this question to a woman that denied that Jesus was the Son of God, that is, God in the Flesh, truly the only begotten of the Father, Yea, even the Word of God, by which he created the Heaven and the Earth, and all that in them is. She then began to show be the linage of Jesus Christ, showing how our Savior was related to David, missing the Point of the Question. What of you, do you understand that it is the son that is to honor the father, by the fifth commandment? Do you understand that David called the promised one Lord, because of the first commandment, and of the Greatest Commandment? Will you turn to him, and do the Work of God (Believing on the One God has Sent?) Selah [Do not fail to think on this.] Amen.

Judgment Earned

Today's verse is Psalm 146:9
     The LORD preserveth the strangers;
He relieveth the fatherless and widow:
But the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

In reading the above verse, apply it and the command God gave Israel through Jeremiah (If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt: then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.) to current day events, then so we ought to fear. For in the name of humanity, the current leaders of my nation are allowing the stranger to flood into my nation, oppressing not only those they supposedly have sworn to protect, but also these that they have allowed under false pretenses to enter into the land, with all callousness oppressing the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow. And if you listen to them carefully, they do all of this in the name of their god, Mother Earth, also known as Gaia, (have you not heard of their grave concern for Climate Change.) Israel, God has promised to protect and bring back to him through Great Tribulation, all others that refuse to Repent, he will destroy unless they (we) repent. Will you, with me, cry the warning, for the Lord God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Selah [Let this sink in.] Amen.

Seeing God's Goodness

Today's verse is Psalm 145:9
The LORD is good to all:
And his tender mercies are over all his works.

The scoffer may ask, “How is the Lord good to all? What of all the suffering we suffer?” But consider the answer of Paul, Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? In other words, are you still able to breathe? While you may think you have nothing left, you are not yet destroyed, the chance of redemption, yea of Repentance still lies at the door, waiting for you to turn to the One that Loves you, that is willing to forgive you of all your transgressions, you but need to ask, for by your hate of God, Jesus Christ was placed upon the Cross, but by his Love for you, He died there, taking your sin upon himself, that you might receive his Righteousness, then Rose up the third day, proving that he is able to Justify you to the Father. Will you open your eyes and see that Goodness God has given you? Will you open your ears, and hear the Good News that God loves you and has made a way for you to have Peace with him? Do not delay, but come to him Today, and he shall receive you freely into the Family of the Beloved. Amen.

The Greatest Mystery!

Today's verse is Psalm 144:3
LORD, what is man, that thou Takest knowledge of him!
Or the son of man, that thou makest account of him!

Have you truly considered this question? I for one am still amazed that God does in favor think on us! Look at our Nations today, and tell me, where is evil called Evil, and where is Good applauded? Haughty men lift up their hands against the Mighty God, the Righteous Judge, and in their foolishness ask him where is his Judgment against all the evil they see, nothing knowing, nor being thankful for the Mercy he is showing not only them, but every one of us. For there is not a one that is good, no not one! There is not a one that is Righteous, no, not one! For every one of us has earned the wages of our sin, even everlasting death, which be torment and pain forever and ever. Yet, God, for some reason commended his Love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Herein is the mystery, herein is the amazement, herein is the opportunity, do not delay, but confess, and agree with God your sin, and his Righteousness, and he for your sin will give you, His Righteousness. Will you Trust him Today? Will you acknowledge him in all thy ways? He is currently waiting, but he will not delay forever. Amen.

What Has Been Provided For You

Today's verse is Matthew 18:11-12
For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

Let us so remember this, that Jesus came the first time to redeem. He came so that all that will, will find forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Will you Repent, will you turn from the wicked ways that destroy, to find the only true peace that can only be found by being washed in the Blood of the Lamb, which was shed that your sin might be forgiven. I say might, because the choice is yours, for the Lord God will draw you unto him, but as the saying goes, “You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink.’ The Lord God has provided you the living water, will you drink of it? Knowing Which Side To Choose

Today's verse is Psalm 140:8
Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked:
      Further not his wicked device;
      Lest they exalt themselves. Selah.

As I was reading today, I saw in Joshua that the people of the land, seeing the destruction of Jericho and Ai, gathered themselves together in hope to resist what God was going to do unto them. Yet four cities, Fearing God, sought a way to survive. Consider now this prayer of David, and consider what God said he will do, then know that though he will give the wicked space for a season, that season is short, and then shall the wicked thinking that they have exulted themselves shall fall by the hand of the Lord. In truth, how have the mighty fallen, and great is the fall of them. So as Gibeon, and Chephirah, and Beeroth, and Kirjath-jearim chose to side with the People of God and survive, if even as servants. Will you also choose the gift provided by the Son of God, Creator of Heaven and Earth, who died for your sin, and Rose up from the Grave that you might be forgiven, and Justified before a Righteous and Holy God? Selah [Think on such things.] Amen.

Why All?

Today's verse is Joshua 8:1
And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed: take all the people of war with thee, and arise, go up to Ai: see, I have given into thy hand the king of Ai, and his people, and his city, and his land:

But wait, did not the Lord tell Gideon that 10,000 was two much, but Ai defeated Israel’s first 3,000? Why? First, Israel through Achan had sinned; therefore, the hand of God was against them. Second, they had forgotten to seek the Lord’s help, they did not even ask God for his direction. So that, what God did with 300, Israel could not do with 3,000. But why now was all of Israel to go up to Ai? I have my theory, but what can you glean from the surrounding passages to determine what God’s Purpose was by doing it the way he directed Joshua to defeat Ai? The Danger Of Transgression

Today's verse is Joshua 7:9
For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land shall hear of it, and shall environ us round, and cut off our name from the earth: and what wilt thou do unto thy great name?

Israel had lost! Why? because one man defied the commandment of God and had taken that which was cursed by God. Now we know that a good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, But God hast magnified his Word above all his Name. Because one man had transgressed the Commandment of God (His Word) all of Israel was in danger of destruction, though Israel (as a whole) knew not of the transgression. Yet, today, we cannot even agree as to what is the Word of God, and we (Those that name the name of Christ) as in Jeremiah’s day openly embrace those things that God in his Word condemns. How can we expect to escape the Holy and Righteous Judge, if we pervert and transgress his Word? That same incorruptible Word of God by which we are Saved! Let us, therefore, cast aside any false Prophet, and seek out God’s True Word, and by his Spirit seek to live Soberly, Righteously, and Godly, even in this present world, to the Honor, and Glory of the God that hath made us. Amen.

Good And Pleasant

Today's verse is Psalm 135:3
Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good:
Sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.

Do you know of this? That truly it is good to praise the Lord your God! To remember that he has been good to you, and even the horrible things that have happened to you, even in them, God is Good, and in praising him, It is excellent. Have you experienced the pleasure of singing the Praise of the King. To be reminded of his doctrines in song, to be reminded of the wonderful things he has done, not only of ages past, but what he is doing today, and the promises that have yet come to past. So let us Sing, and give praise to the Great God, Our Savior, and let us remember that we that bear the Name of the Lord are his, and that He that made us is our God. Amen.

Having Ears To Hear

Today's verse is Matthew 13:11
He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

Hear is a truth you must take into account: That unless you are willing to learn of the Most High God, he will not show himself to you! But if you have ears to hear, and you have eyes to see, then he will teach you his Word; his Way, Precept upon precept, precept upon precept; Line upon line, line upon line; Here a little, and there a little, for in such manner will the Spirit of God show himself to those that diligently seek him. Do you have ears to hear? Amen.
