Do You Remember This?

 

Today's verse is Genesis 9:6

Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man. 

    Today, by the wisdom of the world, it is thought that by education we might be taught to do right, to be moral, to be civilized. Yet, such, not only have forgotten the truth above, but have rejected that we have been made in the image of God, and thus, they have no true concept of what is moral, what is just, or what is equitable. For as Paul has said, “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient[.]” Therefore, let us remember, and let us consider, and seek out the Most Holy, Most High, and seek out his counsel, his ways, according to his Word, and by the strength he has offered by his Spirit, through his Son, to keep his commandments, that the world might see, and might hear of the Love God has for them, before his Judgment consumes them in his Wrath. Amen.
