Today's verse is Psalm 68:18-19
Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive:
Thou hast received gifts for men;
Yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.
Blessed be the Lord,
Who daily loadeth us with benefits,
Even the God of our salvation. Selah.
As I was reading this leaped out at me: Thou hast received gifts for men; Yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them. Are you aware that God loves all those that were created in his image? From those that seek after him, to the most vile. Let us, therefore, reflect upon what was done to Jesus Christ, and the horrible things that was inflicted upon him when all of Mankind killed God, yea, even the Son of God, for being the Son of God. With all of our being we rejected the one that made us, in a vain hope that we might not be condemned by him. Yet what did he do with that? He took what we did, and flipped it on its head, for if we forsake, and confess our vileness, he will receive us unto himself, made pure, and perfected, by the blood he shed, as we killed him. For in him we have a lively hope, even of forgiveness of sin, and life everlasting in him. Amen.
To God be the Glory
