The Unchangeable Priest

 

Today's verse is Hebrews 7:24

But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. 

    This same man, Jesus Christ, the one that is the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever, who now liveth ever, is the same with this unchangeable priesthood. So, as he does not change, so his way does not change. So, what was good then, is good today, and what was evil then, is still evil today. Neither does he make any mistake, neither in Word, nor deed, so come to him today, confessing your sin to him, and he will begin to change you, making you into a righteous image of himself, to be finished on the Day of Jesus Christ, when he comes for his own. Amen.
