Today's verse is Psalm 72:1
Give the king thy judgments, O God,
And thy righteousness unto the king’s son.
This Psalm is the prayer that David prayed for his son Solomon, take note of what has been fulfilled, such as Solomon’s Wisdom, and I took note of the relationship with Sheba, and what is yet to find its full fulfillment in the Messiah, the promised son of David that will rule and reign forever. If you look at the time of Solomon, you can see a reflection of this prayer in his time, God answered David’s prayer. However, there is still coming a time when the promised King will come, and everything David asked for, will be found in him, and now, time and again, we have been commanded to look for the coming of this King, even Jesus Christ, when he shall return in his Glory, and then he shall set up his Kingdom here on Earth. Amen.
To God be the Glory
