A Place Of Safety, Or Something To Fear?

Today's verse is Psalm 48:3-5
     God is known in her palaces for a refuge.
     For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.
     They saw it, and so they marvelled;
      They were troubled, and hasted away.

    Here we see a marvel, here we see a wonder, a place of safety causing kings to tremble and flee! Why? What does it say about those that exercise power over others, that they flee the refuge of the Lord God? Come then, all that are week, come then all that fear, Humble yourselves and Repent, and come unto the place God has prepared and find safety and peace in the midst of all the turmoil, but be patient, and wait on him, and in him you shall find rest. Amen.

To God be the Glory
