Set Up Memorials

Today's verse is Joshua 4:9
And Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests which bare the ark of the covenant stood: and they are there unto this day.

    We know that the Lord our God hates Idols: something that takes the place of God, but truly has no resemblance to him. However, Memorials are a different matter, for they are there to remind us of what God has done for us. Do you know of any work God has done in your life? For example: have you recieved the gift of his Salvation, for what can compare to having your name written in the Lamb’s book of life? How else has he affected your life, and those around you? Give yourself some sort of reminders of these things, that you might have cause to remember them, that you might remember who God is, and what he has done for you. Amen.

Looking For The Hope Of Israel

Today's verse is Isaiah 63:18-19
     The people of thy holiness have possessed it but a little while:
      Our adversaries have trodden down thy sanctuary.
     We are thine: thou never barest rule over them;
      They were not called by thy name.

    Let us first consider who is present in these two verses. We are thine: include not only Israel here (they are included) but also all those who are of the Faith of Abraham, that is all we who have trusted Jesus Christ, all we who have been redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb. Then there is the Adversaries: All of those that have rejected the rule of the True King, that know not the God that made them, who know not of the Gift that he had prepared for them, and yet they have rejected it. Then let us consider the time: God’s people (I believe this speaks of Israel) have erred, they have not known his Son, yet they possess the Land of their inheritance but for a little while (how about less then a hundred years since they have reformed as a nation,) but the place of the Temple is possessed by others who bare no allegiance to the Great God, Creator of all. And Finally, what are we to do: We are to remember, that our God, even the Great God, had delivered his people, Israel, from Egypt, and we are to ask and look for him once again to do the same, even as he has promised. Amen.

To God be the Glory

The Watchmen Are Set

Today's verse is Isaiah 62:6
     I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem,
      Which shall never hold their peace day nor night:
      Ye that make mention of the LORD,
      Keep not silence,

    Even the world knows, to defeat a lie: Speak the Truth. God has set the watchmen upon the wall, did you see, those whom he has chosen: Speak Up, they do not hold their peace, but they declare the Way of The Lord, that all may hear, and be warned, both of the Mercy of the Great God, and of his Wrath against those that reject him and his way. You may ask who are these watchmen? It is even them that Name the Name of The Lord, so if you know him: Keep not silence! Amen.

Labourers Needed

Today's verse is Matthew 9:38
Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

    This week, I saw a headline saying that now those that claim no religious affiliation out number any other group, i.e. Catholic, Evangelical, Protestant, Baptist, possibly even Islam, Hindu etc. Having not read the article, it seemed that the author may have been rejoicing in this fact, but I have been wrong on that before. And coupled with this, last year I met a young lady whose name was Trinity, who knew nothing of the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost. Now, scripture tells us that there will be a great falling away before the Blessed Hope, nevertheless, the Glorious Appearing of the Great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ, but we that know Him, and the Salvation that he has given us, even now have an opportunity to bear witness to our neighbors this Great Gift that we have recieved, for those that enter the Lake of Fire ignorant, will not suffer as those who have knowingly rejected so Great Salvation, but they still shall suffer being in the Lake of Fire. So, Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest, and as you pray, will you say as Isaiah, “Lord send me?” Amen.

Do You Know Where To Find The Answer?

Today's verse is Psalm 119:155
     Salvation is far from the wicked:
      For they seek not thy statutes.

    I have heard the stories of two men, of which their stories where the same. There was a man that sought for the true religion, and in answer to his desire, there came an angel, who brought to him a book, of which the man translated it in secret to give to his followers. Do you know what their error was? It is found in the verse above. For each of these men knew of God’s Word, but both while giving lip service to God’s Holy Book, neither looked to it to find the answer to their questions. Yet, I have heard testimony of another, who for nefarious reasons studied God’s Word, and he found the answers he was seeking, for he found Jesus Christ, and in finding Jesus Christ, he rejected the false book he formally followed. So, come. Investigate this book that God has given, and it will give you the answer you seek, rejected it not, and you will truly find ALL. Amen.

Of What Does God Repent, For His Servants?

Today's verse is Deuteronomy 32:36
     For the LORD shall judge his people,
      And repent himself for his servants,
      When he seeth that their power is gone,
      And there is none shut up, or left.

    Let us ask ourselves, Who are the servants of God? Is it not they that seek to do the will of God? Or in the case of Nebuchadnezzar, whom God through Jeremiah, named his servant, those that do the will of God. For even as he knew not God, he did God’s bidding, and do we not see The Most High, repenting himself for this servant? Did not the Holy One of Israel bring this man to him? Based upon the testimony he gave in Daniel; I truly believe we that are redeemed shall see him in that Great City. Look to God for his Mercy! Look to God for his Grace! And Look to God to do his Will, according to his Word, and so will you too escape his Wrath when he judges the Nations. Amen.

Going Where God Directs

Today's verse is Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

    Just before this, God promises that he would go before thee, to destroy these nations from before thee, and here we see the promise that God would be with thee (the people of Israel, and as we can see by the pronoun, individually.) Know this, these people had a command from God, and for this cause, they were to be strong and of a good courage. Do you know what the God that created Heaven and Earth desires of thee (yes, you, personally.) If you do not know, search the pages of His Book, His Word, find the things he requires of us all, and do them, and when the time is right, he will let you know what plan he has for you, and to what purpose you shall accomplish. And even as now, as you do what you find in God’s word, he will not only go before you to prepare the way, but he will go with you in the midst of the fight. Even as he promised and did with Israel, as they entered, and took possession of the Promised Land. Amen.

Why Is Israel So Hated?

Today's verse is Deuteronomy 30:1
And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,

    What an Amazing God we have that knows the End from the Beginning, who keeps his promises, even before we ask him to! Today, there are those that wonder why Israel is so hated, by so many, even by some that would name the Name of Christ, and of God the Father. Have you considered why Lazarus was hated by those that ruled Israel? Do you know why those that have been given Power to be the Sons of God, are hated by those that do not know God? Israel Proves that God is, and if God is, he is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him. But those that do not know him, do not know this but are afraid, knowing that when he appears, they will have no answer to give him, when they must face him. Therefore, they seek to destroy all that proves that He Is, hoping against hope that they will not have to face him. Will you have compassion on them, as he has had compassion on you, and showing them Jesus Christ the Savior, who died not only for you, but for them as well? Amen.

Responding To Negative Things

Today's verse is Psalm 119:61
     The bands of the wicked have robbed me:
      But I have not forgotten thy law.

    When something negative happens to you, What is your reaction? When the wicked, who by the judgment of God, do the wicked things by which they will be destroyed, splashes upon you, Do you curse the God that made you, or do you bless him instead? Remember his Law. Remember his Word! Remember that when such thieves came upon Job, it was only done because the God that loved him allowed it. Remember even then, that God had a purpose, and that purpose was accomplished, and both God, and Job were exalted. Will you, therefore, Trust him who is faithful, whatever may come? Selah [Know your answer, before such times.] Amen.

God's Wondrous Works

Today's verse is Psalm 119:27
     Make me to understand the way of thy precepts:
      So shall I talk of thy wondrous works.

    Today, I also read the curse that God would place upon his people, when they having known his Word, rejected it, and did otherwise. (God is merciful to those that are in ignorance, but they too shall perish, unless they also repent!) Truly, these things are Wondrously Terrible to contemplate, nevertheless to behold, yet so shall the fate of those be that Reject God and his Word. However, This same God is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, and has prepared for us Great Things, as great as the other is Terrible, if we but seek out his Son, who on the Cross took our place, dying that terrible death, that we by his resurrection might walk in newness of life. So will you seek to Know him, will you Today, seek to know what he requires, and seek to understand his precepts, that you too can talk of his wondrous works? Amen.

Has God Opened Your Eyes?

Today's verse is Psalm 119:18
     Open thou mine eyes,
      That I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

    Here is a truth, scripture, Yea, the Bible, cannot be understood except the Spirit of God shows it to us! Now, some would say, that means that only some specially chosen people can understand it, and you are not one of them. But, No! For all are commanded to read and obey, and how can we obey if we do not know? Now, pay attention to the request above, for it is a request that the Holy One of Israel wishes you to make, and if you so request, He is not only willing, but will surely open your eyes, and your heart that you may understand, not only what he requires of you, but what he offers, and will give you as well. Selah [Will you seek to understand the promises and commandments of the Lord your God?] Amen.

Rejoice In Today!

Today's verse is Psalm 118:24
     This is the day which the LORD hath made;
      We will rejoice and be glad in it.

    Today, I have read how we are to be Thankful and Generous, for the deliverance God has given his people. Today, I have read of the Suffering Savior, Of when he suffered for our sins, that we might be redeemed from our Iniquity, and of the stone the builders rejected being made the chief cornerstone, for it is upon this foundation that we have any hope of a Blessed Eternity, and Today, I have read of Matthew’s account of this Cornerstone’s birth. So, on this day that the Lord hath made, let us Rejoice both in it, and the day that Jesus Christ suffered for us, and the Day that Jesus rose from the Dead, for by these we shall see that Day that he returns to set up his Kingdom. He Comes Quickly

Today's verse is Isaiah 52:5-6
     Now therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD,
      That my people is taken away for nought?
      They that rule over them make them to howl, saith the LORD;
      And my name continually every day is blasphemed.
     Therefore my people shall know my name:
      Therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.

    As it once was, so it is again, as the Preacher has said, there is nothing new under the sun. In the name of Equity that is not equity, Justice and Judgment have been done away, and only those that speak and hope for some form of Righteousness are truly punished, do not such have reason to Howl? And the name of God, often is remembered only to be used in vain. As it was before the suffering Savior came, so it is again. There is nothing new under the sun. Yet, as truly the suffering Savior came, did not Jesus Christ come to suffer for our sake, paying the price for our sin, Rising again to shew that we can be Saved? But as he came to save, this next time, when many believe that he does not Judge, he will come full of Wrath, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. So, let us remember, How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; That saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! Will you be such a one? Amen.

It Is Done

Today's verse is Revelation 21:6
And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

    It is done! All the lessons of all the ages have taught us that Mankind having been created to fellowship with God, cannot please God without relying upon God. And now the day the Atheist has longed for, the day when all the evil has been done away with, and bottled up and put on display, for all the world to remember, for now Righteousness Reigns and all the Goodness of God with his Omnipotence and his Omniscience have been made evident, and there is none that can say, “He is not just.” Even beyond the Blessed Hope, (Receiving our Glorified bodies) this is what we look for, what we hope for, when God’s dwelling will once again be with men, and we shall abide forever with him. God Sees You!

Today's verse is Psalm 113:6
     Who humbleth himself to behold
      The things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

    Do you realize how amazing this is? We are clearly told that man in his best state is altogether vanity (nothing!) Yet the Most High God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth has humbled himself to not only notice you, but he has seen your need. He has provided for your need. Did he not die upon the Cross for you? Rising from the grave, to give you new life? He desires to take you out of the pit you find yourself and put you on a firm foundation. Will you come? Will you accept his invitation? Do not delay, for today, I have not only seen this Marvelous Wonder, but I read that those who do not know him, those who he does not know through his Son Jesus Christ, not being found in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire, where they will suffer for eternity. Will you chose his Grace and Mercy, or his Wrath? Selah [Chose Wisely.] Amen.

Looking For The Great Works Of God

Today's verse is Psalm 111:2
     The works of the LORD are great,
      Sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

    Did you know that the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him? Have you read how in an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee when Jesus Christ hung upon the tree for your sin? Then rising up the third day, that you might be saved. What of Haman, who, for his hate of the Jew, God’s People, was hanged upon his own gallows, just before God saved his people from his machinations. And what of the coming Hope, that Blessed Hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ? What Is Your Heart Fixed On

Today's verse is Psalm 108:1
     O God, my heart is fixed;
      I will sing and give praise,
      Even with my glory.

    Is your heart fixed?, or is it better to ask, upon what is your heart fixed? Do you go with the flow, desiring whatsoever is put in front of you? Or, have you made a choice, setting your eyes, your mind, your strength, your heart, upon the Lord your God who gave his Son for your sake, that you might be redeemed unto him. Do Not Fear The Strength Of Those That Oppose God

Today's verse is Deuteronomy 20:1
When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

    How many times have I looked at the wicked of the world, seeing their power and the pervasiveness of their lies, and the voices speaking against them, seeming to have no effect. But what does the Word of the Lord here say, Is not the principle the same, they are not currently using horses, nor chariots, but they are more than the Saints, and more even then those that fear God. But God is with them that fear him, and he will not depart from those that Know his Son, who has Sanctified us by his Blood. So, let us be Strong and of good courage, and Fret not because of the evil doer, for truly our God is in Control, has he not told us the end from the beginning? Have you read the ending of his Book? He wins. Amen.

No Room For Doubt!

Today's verse is Isaiah 46:10
     Declaring the end from the beginning,
      And from ancient times the things that are not yet done,
      Saying, My counsel shall stand,
      And I will do all my pleasure:

    Do you Doubt that God exist? Are you looking for reasons to believe, or are you as a fool, looking for reasons to reject him, hoping that one day you will not have to face him and give him an account. But he has provided for you a way, and in that provision, he has given you proof. For in scripture, you will find that from Adam to Malachi, God has told us of the Suffering Savior, from how he was to be born, to how he would die, suffering for the sins of the whole world, yea suffering for your sin, and mine, then to show that truly we have a Savior, a Redeemer, He rose up Alive on the third day. All of this God declared in his Word. And by that same Word, that Suffering Saviour will be the Returning King, whom will, when he comes will bring Judgment and Justice and Equity to a wicked world who has rejected him. In that day, you will Marvel and Wonder at how such a Terrible, can also be Good, but you shall confess that he is both, and all powerful, and all knowing as well. Why wait until then when it will be too late. For he is willing to receive you today, even now. Selah [Will you Come?] Amen.

Once Again, Remember The Works Of God

Today's verse is Psalm 105:5
     Remember his marvellous works that he hath done;
      His wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

    Having given us this Charge, the Psalmist recounts the works of the Lord, from Abraham to Joshua, but now let us also consider what God told Moses in Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy what would happen if Israel did not faithfully fulfill the Law. For as God told Moses, so did God do in the Days of Jeremiah and Ezekiel. Therefore, let us Marvel and Fear and Wonder and Repent. For he had done these things for our benefit that we might know that what he has said, he will do. He said he will send a Savior, and he has in Jesus Christ. He has said that Jesus Christ will come again to Judge. If the Lord God had said that he would all that he did, do not let yourself be deceived, saying he will not come again, for he has already proven himself faithful to his Word. As he has said, he has done; therefore, has he has said, he will do. Do not delay, come to him now, find out his way, and walk in it. First by receiving the Gift of Salvation through Jesus Christ, then walk by his Spirit, according to his True Word, then you will be ready when he Comes. Amen.

The Creator Of Heaven And Earth Loves You!

Today's verse is Isaiah 44:24
     Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer,
      And he that formed thee from the womb,
      I am the LORD that maketh all things;
      That stretcheth forth the heavens alone;
      That spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

    Are you aware that the Lord God, The Most High, the Creator of all things made you? Are you aware, that having made you, he is concerned for your welfare? Consider what the Psalmist has said of the creatures of the Earth, and the Seas: These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season. True, we were made to work, and we should not seek to escape this purpose, but has Jesus has used this very same principal to direct us to wait upon the Lord, and to Trust him for our provision, so must we do. Consider, our greatest need, whether you will admit it our not, is to walk and fellowship with our creator, and he has provided our way through Jesus Christ our Redeemer, Yea, our Righteousness. And if he has done this for us, truly is there anything he would withhold from us? Trust him, walk in his ways, and ye shall find that he will be faithful to provide. Amen.

Do You Know God's Benefits?

Today's verse is Psalm 103:2
     Bless the LORD, O my soul,
      And forget not all his benefits

    Do you even know all of the benefits God has given you? I must confess, I do not think I do. Just from this Psalm we have the salvation of our souls, being redeemed from our sin, having such separated from us as far as the east is from the west. And not only that, but from him comes our substance, our daily provision. He by his Word, has revealed unto us his Power, and his Love, and his Judgment. Have your eyes been opened so that you can see these things in your life? Will you accept these gifts? or will you continue in your bitterness till you face the destruction by the Wrath of the one you have rejected, Even the Holy One of Israel, the Righteous Judge. Even the one that died for your sin, offering you freely New Life, that you perish not in your sins. Selah {It is your choice.] Amen.

Through The Stars Fall . . .

Today's verse Psalm 102:25-26
     Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth:
      And the heavens are the work of thy hands.
     They shall perish, but thou shalt endure:
      Yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment;
      As a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

    The Title of this Psalm is: “A Prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out his complaint before the Lord.” Now, consider the words above and know them for true, for Peter tells us that the elements will melt with a fervent heat, and John tells us that the earth and the heaven fled from the Great White Throne, as no place was found for them, and both Isaiah and John tell us that there will be a new heaven and a new earth. What should we take from this, as the New Year starts? Are you afflicted? Are you overwhelmed? Know this, even as the Heavens and the Earth perish (should that not be overwhelming) God is in Control. What are the things you now face compared to that? Therefore, with all diligence seek out the Lord God, who wishes to be your God, and trust in him, for he is faithful, and those that are his because of Jesus Christ will come fourth as the song says, “Some through the fire, and some through the flood, but all through the blood.” And as another had said, “Do Right, though the stars fall, Do Right.” Will you trust the Lord your God Today? Will you trust him this year, whatever may come? Knowing that he is in control, will you trust him? Amen.
