Today's verse is Psalm 46:2-3
Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled,
Though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
When we fear God and allow our actions and our ways to be affected by that fear, then we need not fear anything that we see, for we know that it is God at work, and the end product will be righteousness throughout the whole earth, and those that belong to God, will be those that abide in the place he has prepared. Notice that it is this Psalm that ends, commanding us to Be still, and know that I am God; and that he is our refuge (our place of safety) Amen.
To God be the Glory
Scott
