Today's verse is Numbers 20:12
And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.
Because you believed me not, will these words be spoken to you? Consider what happened to Zacharias when he did not believe when the Angel told him he would have a son. Not to mention what happened to Israel when they refused to enter the Promise Land. It is one thing not to understand God’s Word, it is another to refuse to understand, but whether you understand and refuse to believe, or refuse to understand, therefore, not believing, you are refusing the mercy and grace of God as Moses, Aaron and Zacharias who were chastened for their disobedience, or as others, who not being found in the Book of Life, were cast into the Lake of Fire. Selah [Will you Trust in the Lord your God?] Amen.
