What God Had Promised, He Will Fulfill.

 

Today's Verse is Genesis 12:7

And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him. 

    It is important to note the covenants God has made, and to whom. For have we not been told That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us[.] Now, if God has broken even one of his covenants, both of these immutable things will have been broken. But yet, even now, if you will note, the Children that God had promised Abram [Abraham] have not yet possessed all the Land God had promised him. Therefore, even as we have the same hope of Salvation, we can be sure that Israel (to whom the promised passed) will inherit the Land God has given Abraham for God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew, even as he will not cast away any who have come to him through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
