Patience, Waiting On God's Timing!

Today's Verse is Genesis 40:23
But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:

Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him. Having already commented on this second verse, I do not fear to do so again, even as Peter was not ashamed to remind us again and again of certain things that we need to remember, even so we need to remember that our God is never late, neither is he early. For he has appointed certain times that his perfect will might be accomplished, even as Peter has also admonished us: The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. So, if you figure God has delayed his answer, fret not, for what God had, or has promised he will do! So, remembering the counsel we have received from David: Wait on the Lord; /Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: /Wait, I say, on the Lord. Amen.
