Just For The Asking

 

Today's Verse is Exodus 10:19

And the LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red sea; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of Egypt. 

    God has said, The goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance[.] Yet, how many times do we see God relenting of the current Judgment just for the asking, only for the recipient to turn back once the unpleasantness has passed? This is why we must Fear the Lord, as well as why we can. God’s goodness coupled with the knowledge that God chastens his own, and destroys those who reject him, thus both the carrot and the stick will lead us to have the fullest blessing from God we can have. We know that God by definition is right, and thus Just, but not only that, but we find in his Word, that he is also the Justifier of those that believe in Jesus. Will you lean upon HIS understanding and Trust him today? Amen.
