Knowing When It's Time To Go Home

Today's Verse is Genesis 31:3
And the LORD said unto Jacob, Return unto the land of thy fathers, and to thy kindred; and I will be with thee.

In the context of this command to Jacob to leave, we see a general principal for God’s people: When conflict arises, often it is time to leave. Without a doubt there are some exceptions to this, such as Israel conquering the promised land, and Christ’s return to claim his kingdom, yet where we are counted but visitors, when the residents are unhappy, it very well may be the time to leave, that God may bring upon them the fruits of their ways. Have you heard the term “God forsaken?” Know this now, a place is not forsaken of God if but one person that Knows the Lord, yea, is known of the Lord resides. So, when God has been rejected, it is at such a time that we are to shake off their dust off our feet and leave them to the Judgment God has set for them. Even as Solomon warned twice: A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: /But the simple pass on, and are punished. Amen.
