Remember!

Today's verse is Exodus 13:3
And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.

Just as Israel was to remember how God delivered them from Egypt, so also do we need to remember the things he has done for us. Starting with the day we found Salvation in his Son, Jesus Christ. But not only that, but we must also take note of all of the things God has done for us, whether great or small, whether he has done it just moments ago, or if it was our earliest memory, or anywhere in between. In doing this we shall see that he loves us, and that he is caring for us, for even as he prepared us to receive his Son, he is ever working in us that his Son might be seen in us unto his Glory and Majesty. So, let us set memorials to these things that we might remember what our God has done, and what we can expect him to do. Amen.

To God be the Glory
