A Good Thing To Be Addicted To

 

Today's Verse is 1 Corinthians 16:15-16

     I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to nthe ministry of the saints,) 

     That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth. 

    While most things to be addicted to are truly to be avoided, here we find one that is to be embraced: the ministry to the saints, or to serve God’s people. let us so be found doing. Yet, also, we are commanded when finding such, that we are to submit to them. How are we to understand this? As we find those that are faithful to the ministry, we are to responded to them as we would our Lord, for as they are faithful to him, he may give them insights to help us, as we walk with him. Just remember, alway compare what you receive by his Word. Amen.
