Today's verse is Exodus 8:31
And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people; there remained not one.
As I was reading this chapter, I noticed that with each plague God sent, at least up to this point, he removed the effects of the plague before, with an opportunity for Pharoah to repent, but with Job, all came to him at once, compounding one problem with another. Now, with Pharoah, we know he was being judged, but with Job, he was being tried, tested, and refined. Pharoah was in the end destroyed, but Job, he came out purified, pleasing to the Master. Are you suffering hard times right now? Take a moment and see what sort it is, and if need be Repent, then Trust in the Lord your God, seek reasons not to murmur and complain, surly they can be found, and place your Hope in the Lord, rest in him, and he shall bring you forth as Gold. Amen.
To God be the Glory
