Remember To Glorify Your Maker

 

Today's verse is 2 Corinthians 10:17

But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. 

    When you make a great accomplishment, do you give all the Glory to God, who made you, or do you keep some, or all, of it for yourself? Do you remember Job? When he made his final defense of himself, he made boast of himself, but when God showed up, He had nothing to say! Therefore, let us give God his due, and forget not to praise him when things go right! However, when things go wrong, remember that he can be Trusted, for blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, if you call upon him, he will answer, he will deliver, so then even in this give him the glory. And finally, truly the only thing to glory in is whether your name is written in the lamb's book of life, for if it is not, all else is vain, so make haste, and through Christ that died for you, find the forgiveness that comes only by him rising from the grave. Amen.
