Today's verse is Genesis 5:2
And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.
And for this cause, God has set up Pharaoh for judgment, as he is now about to meet God, and not by mercy and grace, but by wrath and judgment. The people of Egypt, and the children of Israel had seen God working as he had warned them of the famine to come, allowing them to prepare, and having prepared survived the drought. Yet, it would appear not only did they forget Joseph, but they forgot the God that Joseph served, and God is now come to claim that which is his. It would appear that we are in a similar time, how then will you be introduced to the Lord God that created the Heaven and the Earth? Will you receive of his mercy, and accept his grace, which he has given us through Jesus Christ? Or will you force him to show you his wrath, as he brings his judgment upon the Earth. Today, the choice is yours, do not delay, Repent, and know that he is, and is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Amen
