Today's verse is Luke 21:18
But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
Now Consider also: “And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:” Whenever those that serve Evil have the power, there is no doubt that they will come after those that oppose them, but especially those that oppose them because they name the Name of Jesus Christ. We have above the promise of protection, and we have the surety that some will have their lives taken for Christ’s sake. Will you be as Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego, and stand up for the One that Died for you, and Rose again that we might have life, knowing that whatever He allows will not ever be in vain? As we see many times in Scripture: “Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, /All ye that hope in the Lord.” Amen.
