The Time To Understand

 

Today's verse is Luke 18:34

And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

    There will be times when God shall tell you of something that you do not understand. Hold fast to it, meditate upon it, and watch for it, for there will be a day when the events of your life, or the events in the world about you will give you the clues to understand what God has so told you. Consider, for example, the passage preceding this verse above. Jesus told the disciples the events that must be if ever there should be the Gospel, that is the Good News that God has prepared for all of Mankind. The passage before the verse given above describes what the Son of Man must endure that all that have sinned might have an opportunity to have peace with God. Have you understood? Do you now understand? Have you accepted that precious gift of forgiveness that the events described allow? Selah [Do not rest, till you have understood and recieved.] Amen.
