The Incorruptible Judge

Today's verse is Deuteronomy 10:16-17
Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.
For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

Why circumcise your heart? Because the heart is desperately wicked. I once, after reading of Israel, thought God liked the stiffnecked, but he does not. but he does love us, and so, we are not to resist him, but we are to surrender to him, but not to any other. For when he judges there is no one else that we can appeal, nor can we plead any special case, nor is there ought we can bring him, that we can change his mind. But he has provided a way, even Jesus his Son, who died taking our place, and rose again, that we might be found in him, Righteous before a righteous Judge. The evil you see? It is God’s judgment upon a wicked world! Repent, accept his forgiveness through his Son, and forsake your wicked ways, then let us see if God will spare. Amen.

To God be the Glory
