Today's verse is Luke 9:26
For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels.
There is a day coming when each of us will have to give an account to the God Most High. However, today, there are those who hate God and all that represent him, so much so, that they seek to destroy all that name the name of God, or his Son, Jesus. In this verse we are warned, for God has provided one to speak for us on that day, but if we are ashamed of him today, when most, thankfully not all, despise the very thought of God, that very same Advocate will be ashamed of us. If he is ashamed of us, Will he speak on our behalf? Choose now, which you should fear more! God, the Most High Judge, Righteous throughout the ages, or the angry masses who are set in vain to destroy all that represent the God they hate! Then fully support that side, for God will not accept any who stand on the sidelines. Selah [Choose carefully.] Amen.
To God be the Glory
Scott
