Today's verse is Deuteronomy 23:5
Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.
When others accuse you falsely, First, take care lest they cause you to trip. But above all Trust in the Lord your God, and Rest in him, for he knows the Truth, and he has already forgiven you, and as seen elsewhere, he has already forgotten your faults, as he has testified of Israel through Balaam to Balak. Yet as God has turned the curses of Balak, even as we later also learned of Balaam, into blessings as recorded here. So too will the Lord your God turn the wrath of your enemies back upon themselves. Did he not show you his love for you, When he died upon the Cross, and if he was willing to do that for you. Why would he withhold anything, but for your Good? Selah [Consider his Loving-kindness.] Amen.
To God be the Glory
