Their Lies Vs God's Truth

Today's verse is Psalm 117
O praise the LORD, all ye nations:
      Praise him, all ye people.
For his merciful kindness is great toward us:
And the truth of the LORD endureth for ever.
      Praise ye the LORD.

It has been said that if God is all powerful. . . He cannot be Good, and if God is good. . . He cannot be all powerful. But God’s kindness comes from his mercy, and from his kindness comes his longsuffering. Peter tells us that God is longsuffering because he is not willing that any should perish, but that all come to repentance, but from scripture we can know that not all will repent, and Paul tells us of the possibility that some are reserved to display God’s Wrath. Truly God is to be Feared, but even the Wrath of God is to be Praised by those that love Righteousness, and are covered by the Blood of the Lamb. So in this day of lies, let us give God all the Praise, and all the Glory, knowing that the Liars will be caught in their own lies and will be destroyed by God’s Truth [The Truth] at a time of God’s choosing unless they repent. Amen.

To God be the Glory
Scott
