Today's verse is Psalm 119:104
Through thy precepts I get understanding:
Therefore I hate every false way.
There are many mysteries that we face as we live our lives, but as we meditate on God’s Word, allowing it to influence us we then can understand the horrors or the blessings that we see about us today. As we begin to understand God’s Word we see how he takes a hand in the affairs of men, giving them (and/or us) an opportunity to repent before he brings the proverbial (or literal) fire and brimstone upon all that transgress, refusing to repent. God’s Word also tells us how we are to repent, that is, what sacrifice God will accept, how he can be appeased. And that is in no other way, than to accept the Sacrifice he has made on our behalf, To accept the payment he has made for our sins, which was done when Jesus, his Son, died on our behalf, rising again on the third day, showing all that he had the power, to forgive us of all our sins. So will you start to consider what God has to say to you? You will be amazed at how he will change your life. Amen.
To God be the Glory
Scott
