Being Blind To God Working

Today's verse is 1 Samuel 18:25
And Saul said, Thus shall ye say to David, The king desireth not any dowry, but an hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to be avenged of the king’s enemies. But Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines.

Saul was blinded by his own desires (lusts actually.) Saul had seen what God can do, for even his own son, Johnathan, had been used of God to gain a great victory over the Philistines. But Saul could not see the hand of God there. Nor, really did he see God at work when David slew Goliath, yet Jonathan did. Do you know what God has planed for you? In general, or in the particular? Remain faithful to it, this David did, and nothing Saul devised could touch him (inconvenience him maybe, but not touch him.) What can you learn from this? Selah [Consider this.] Amen.
