Today's verse is 1 Peter 2:12
Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
Today, there is a high possibility that if you follow after Jesus Christ, that you will be reviled by those that hate the ways of God, and as Paul listed, “By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true[.]” Let us remember that the one they Hate is the same that died for them, just as he had died, and rose again for us. So as they speak against you, even fight against you, remember they are trying to assuage their own guilt. Your Savior has promised to be with you at such times, and has promised to guide you through, so do not allow the wickedness of the flesh come forth, but rather allow the Spirit of God to shine forth his love to them. To some, it will led to redemption, even while in others it will secure their condemnation. All to the Glory of God. Amen.
To God be the Glory
