Is It Not Time To Seek God's Help?

Today's verse is Psalm 124:8
Our help is in the name of the LORD,
      Who made heaven and earth.

Truly, the God of Israel, is a God of help. He is a God of mercy and truth. Yet, is he not also a God of Judgment? We that know God, can we not see his hand of Judgment active in all that is happening today? Should we not tremble, for our sin, for the sins of our Nation? Is there any innocent? Yet, as Isaiah had said, for all this His hand is stretched out still. So as God promised Solomon, let us humble ourselves before the Most Righteous Judge, and pray, and perhaps he will spare those that seek him. Does he not always have his remnant? Jeremiah, declared, Blessed is the man whose trust is in the Lord, in whose hope the Lord is. Let us test such passages and turn to the one that Loves us. Amen.
