Withdraw Thyself

Today's verse is 1 Timothy 6:3-5
If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

Seeing they see not, hearing they hear not,” and “Those that have ears to hear, let him hear.” Today, there is a group that fits the description given above and they are loud and demanding, yet to give in to their demands is to turn your back upon God. So what will you do, will you for expedience sake give in to their demands, or will you as Paul counsels here, reject them and their teachings, and also turn to God, and trust him to carry you through, giving to him as he demands for your good? Selah [Think on this.] Amen.

To God be the Glory
