The Exclusiveness Of Grace
Today's verse is Romans 11:6
And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
The coin needed to receive forgiveness from God is not obtained by the things you can do, but by what another has already done for you, and these two currencies can never be exchanged one for another, for they are mutually exclusive. What Jesus Christ did for you, Dying upon the Cross that you (and I) deserve is all that is needed for you (or I) to enter into heaven, and not only to enter heaven, but it is by this truth, that we shall be able to stand in the presence of God, clothed in the Righteousness of his Son, as he was once covered in our Sin. Let us, therefore, allow Christ to live through us, that others may see his righteousness in us, that we may tell them how they might also receive this gift God has provided for them. Amen.
To God be the Glory
Scott
