Misguided Understandings
Today's verse is Proverbs 16:25
There is a way that seemeth right unto a man,
But the end thereof are the ways of death.
When we trust our own understanding, we most likely will fail. When we try to follow our heart, it will more often then not, lead us astray. This is because we do not know enough to act with wisdom, and our hearts are wicked, and deceitful, desiring those things that appear good, or pleasant, only to cause us to lose sight of what is truly important. This is why we must always and only trust in the Lord our God, and seek him for direction in all that we do. If we do these two things, we need not concern ourselves with any unintended consequences, for our God has promised to guide our steps, and all consequences on that path have been intended by God. And as our way leads to death, his way will lead to life, not only for us, but for many that we interact with as well. Selah [Think about this.] Amen.
To God be the Glory
