What To Do, When Panic is Common
Today's verse is Proverbs 3:25-26
Be not afraid of sudden fear,
Neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.
For the LORD shall be thy confidence,
And shall keep thy foot from being taken.
I have heard counsel that proclaimed that it was okay if one was caught up in the panic of the moment, before the world was shut down. But here we have a better counselor. Now, if you were caught up, and you did panic, God is gracious, and forgiving, but the simple truth is: if we fear God, we need not fear anything else, and if we trust in him, we know that whatever end we face, he will be with us, and we will come out the better for it. So today, will you continue in the fear of what may be? Or, will you turn to the one that made you, as well as everything else that is, or ever will be, or even has been, and trust in his loving kindness for you? Selah [Think about this.] Amen.
To God be the Glory
