Unsearchable Riches

Today's verse is Ecclesiastes 3:11
He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

Compare the above text with what Paul told Timothy: “For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.” The first speaks of finding Joy and Mystery, the second, Suffering and Confidence. All in all this paints a picture of a God that we can trust, indeed a God that we must trust. Many, using the reasons that they must fear God, as an excuse to blame God for their misfortunes, of which they are most likely guilty, not seeing the Good things that God has put in their lives that they do not deserve. Where are you? Will you miss the Joy because of the mystery, or will you miss the confidence because of the suffering? Or, will you find Joy, in the unsearchable Mystery of God, and endure the suffering, because you know you have a God that you can be confident in? Selah [Think on These Things.] Amen.
