Today's verse is 2 Thessalonians 3:13
But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
A simple command, yet one easily disobeyed, for we lose sight of the died for us, and we lose sight of what we are working for. When you start to get tired of what God has you doing, just take a moment to reflect on what he has already done for you, then remember the promises he has made you, both those recorded in his Word, and those that we give when he called you to the purpose he has set for you, and as he endured the Cross for the joy set before him, so also set your eyes upon the end God has set before you, and once again take up the work he has given you to do, refreshed for the Day. Amen.
