Faith And Gray Areas

Today's verse is Romans 14:23
And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

This passage does not say, I can do this because I believe, rather it says that if I do not believe I should do this or that, I should not. Our Faith is not blind, for it needs to be founded upon the Word of God, and what it teaches. That is, our faith needs to built upon the foundation of what we understand in the scriptures. Now the context of this passage is to consider the conscience of our brothers and sisters in Christ, for none have a perfect understanding of the world around us, and its relationship with our heavenly Father. So it is good, not to be convicted by what you do, but also endeavor to not cause your neighbor to stumble when he sees you do that which he thinks is wrong. Selah [Think on these things] Amen.
