A Faithful God

Today's verse is Deuteronomy 7:9
Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

Are there any promises which God has made that you can claim? (hint: the answer to all is yes, such as the forgiveness of sins through the Cross of Christ, and that is just to start.) If there is we see here that God is faithful to keep all of his promises (covenants) and will never let any of them “fall to the ground.” So let us that have received that first promise, seek out the others he has made that we can also claim, and hold fast to them, even if all else says that they should not be, and in due time all will be fulfilled. Amen.
