A Curse Turned Around
Today's verse is Deuteronomy 10:9
Wherefore Levi hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren; the LORD is his inheritance, according as the LORD thy God promised him.
Of Levi, with his brother Simeon, the following was declared by their father: “Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; /And their wrath, for it was cruel: /I will divide them in Jacob, /And scatter them in Israel.” However here in this verse we see that this curse for Levi, while not being dismissed, has been turned into a blessing. Such is our God that even that which was meant to be a curse, and one that cannot be changed, He is able to turn it on its head, making the results a blessing instead. So have you been cursed, are you suffering from the results of past actions, turn to your Heavenly Father who loves you, and seek his face, and do his will, and as he did for the tribe of Levi, so too will he do for you, turning any curse into a blessing not only for you, but those around you as well. Amen
