Today's verse is Revelation 5:9-10
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
As terrible as the book the Lamb recieved, and will open, is. Which is the book that will begin that great and terrible time that Jesus calls the Great tribulation, and the hour of temptation, we see the four beasts, and the twenty-four elders (I believe representing at least the Church, if not Israel as well) rejoicing for the redemption that Jesus (the Lamb) provided, and the promise of his coming kingdom. That book, that the lamb has taken, represents not only the Judgment of God, but also redemption and a new beginning. For not only will God’s wrath appear upon all those that have rejected him, but God will fulfill his promise to his chosen people Israel, and when they see him, each and every one of them that are left, will receive him, and will as we are now, be redeemed. Amen.
To God be the Glory
