Today's verse is Esther 5:9
Then went Haman forth that day joyful and with a glad heart: but when Haman saw Mordecai in the king’s gate, that he stood not up, nor moved for him, he was full of indignation against Mordecai.
Haman had many things, and the things that blessed him where great, but because he forgot God, and failed to be thankful to God for the things he had, this one irritant not only ruined his day, but in the end, ended his life as well! What of you? Do you focus upon the blessings God has given you? Even better, do you focus on the promises you have from God? Do you therefore have Hope, that what God has said, he will do? If so, so what the irritant, it shall pass, for God will do as he has said. Therefore, Focus upon the Lord your God, and be thankful for all the Blessings he has given you, but not only that, but be even thankful for the irritant, for if you trust God, unlike Haman, God will use that irritant to bring unimaginable blessing upon you. Did not Paul proclaim “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory[.]” Amen.
To God be the Glory
