What Or Who Does Revelation, Reveal?

 

Today's verse is Revelation 1:1

THE Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: 

    In the very first verse of the Book of Revelation, we are told who it is about! And the very same man that told us that God is Love, is the same man that now shows us God’s Wrath! To be clear, God, even his Son Jesus Christ is longsuffering, not willing that any should perish, but another tells us that God has reserved unto himself those that have rejected him for the express purpose of displaying his Wrath. So let us take heed, and recognize the horrors that are found in this book, and do as that same pleaded, knowing the terror of the Lord, let us persuade men to Repent, and come to find God’s lovingkindness found only in Jesus Christ, For did he not suffer the wrath of God upon himself as he hung upon the Cross in our Place? He now lives, and he will not restrain forever, but will come at a time when few if any will be ready. Are you? Amen.
