Today! Your Choice is . . .

Today's verse is Psalm 95:7b-8
To day if ye will hear his voice,
Harden not your heart, as in the provocation,
And as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

Today! Will you listen to the God that made heaven and Earth, or will you listen to those that have rejected him, whom God has turned over to their own lusts, to do those things that are not convenient? At the time of the provocation twelve men went over the Jordan river to see what God was going to give them. They saw great things, and reported of the riches of the land, but they also saw those that dwelt already in the land. Ten of the twelve only saw the might and the strength of those they called giants, and giants they were, and found that the task God had set for them impossible! But the other two, did not see the obstacle, for they knew who their God is, and they knew that what God told them to do, God would, at the minimum, help them accomplish what he had commanded them to do! So, Today, Will you Glorify God as God? Will you be faithful to him and his Word? Or will you follow after those that God has given over to a reprobate mind? Today, this is your choice, God again offers you Rest, that is to cease from your own works, or will you take the struggle of the wilderness (not a fun place?) Selah [Do you really need to consider this?] Amen.

To God be the Glory
Scott
