God Is Greater!

 

Today's verse is 1 John 4:4

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 

    There are those that think to win the lost, we must mimic the things the Lost loves! But the lost loves the things that are of this world, but we are to love God who is greater than the world. Does not John tell us earlier that to love the world is to not have the love of God upon, nor in you? How then can mimicking the World bring others to God? God call us to be Holy, that is separate from the world. But not only separate from the world, but separated unto God, that the world may through us see God, and that his way is better, that his way builds, even as the things of this world destroys and makes desolate. Our God is greater than the world, let us allow those that are trapped in the world see that, that they might be drawn unto God, just as we have been. Amen.
