To Escape The "Hour Of Temptation!"

 

Today's verse is Revelation 3:10

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 

    First let us understand these terms “patience” and “hour of temptation.” The word of God’s patience is none other than, God is not will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, and the hour of temptation is that first of the final two installments of judgment that God will bring upon this world, that he might show his wrath, and to make known his power. However, God is forgiving, therefore we can fear him, for he has given us a way to escape, and those that repent now, need not to fear that hour when his Wrath is poured out upon the Earth. Even now, as we see more and more the apathy and the hate Man has toward God, that time approaching, will you be found in him, or will you be left to face all the evil that those that know not God can devise? Amen.
