Why Evil?

Today's verse is Daniel 9:14
Therefore hath the LORD watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.

When the scoffer sees the evil in the world his reason says that God cannot be both good and all powerful, or God cannot be Good and all knowing. Yet, here is the answer of God to him, for God is Good, God is all powerful, and God is all knowing, and God is everywhere, but because we have rejected him and refused to even hear him, nevertheless obey him, Yea, even because he is righteous, is all this evil we see about us, upon us. He allows it, so that we can also see that dire cost of rejecting him, of not hearing him, of not obeying him, that without him the heart of man is only evil continually. Yet, we have a report that because God forgives, he can be Feared! For I also read today, of How God Protects those that place their trust in him, Yea puts their confidence in the One that Died for all, that all that will might, yea will, be redeemed, delivered from their own sin, even delivered from those that work their evil forgetting the one they must deal with when they give an account for the things they have done, which we must all do. Selah [Take careful consideration of all these things.] Amen.

To God be the Glory
