Today's verse is Psalm 11:1-2
In the LORD put I my trust:
How say ye to my soul,
Flee as a bird to your mountain?
For, lo, the wicked bend their bow,
They make ready their arrow upon the string,
That they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
When Nebuchadnezzar came against Jerusalem, What was the commandment of God to those that were faithful to him? When persecution comes, what is the commandment that Jesus gave of his followers? Consider Lot, did not God force him to leave Sodom? Why? Was it not so that God could then judge that city? Even so, God does see today the hearts of men, and their evil inventions. Has he not told us that he has prepared a day for their Judgment? Is it not possible that that day draweth nigh? Trust in the Lord your God, for he will give grace to his own, and whether the Judgment is today or tomorrow, he watches over his Saints, and will recompense for all of their troubles. Amen.
To God be the Glory
