Can You Call God, Your God?

Today's verse is Genesis 33:20
And he erected there an altar, and called it El-elohe-Israel.

El-elohe-Israel, or as it might be interpreted: God, the god of Israel. I can remember a time (actually, more than one) when I was speaking to those that did not know my Savior, that they were offended because I said God is My God. Do you have such a relationship with the Most High God, The Creator of Heaven and Earth, that when you speak of him to others, they think that they are excluded, if they themselves do not know him themselves? Such is the relationship God desires of you. Come to him today, he has provided the way through Jesus Christ his Son, and when you come accepting that wonderful gift of forgiveness, you too can call him not only My God, but My Papa as well. Amen.

To God be the Glory
Scott
