Not Who You Are, But Who God Is!

Today's verse is Exodus 3:11-12
And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?
And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.

.    When God calls us to do that which he has purposed to do, It does not matter who we are, but it does matter who he is! Just as with Moses, when he knew what God had intended to do through him, he tried to do it by his own strength and found himself wanting, and failed to accomplish what he had set out to do. Stumbling and falling then running away. But in the fullness of time, as God had prepared Moses, humbled him, but strengthened him as well, God told him it was time to go. But, not by Moses’ ability, nor by Moses’ power, for Moses was to go with God, and do as God directed, and as he did that, he would see God work, as God had said. Just remember all that God said, then you will not be surprised and stumble over the stepping stones God has put in the way. Amen.

To God be the Glory
