Observing What God Has Said

 

Today's verse is Genesis 37:11

And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.

    The dream that Joseph had was from God, and God we shall find later did as the dream predicted. What God says, what God promised will always come to pass. We now have the whole of the Bible, and we can now test and see how many, even most of what God had foretold has already come to pass. So much so, that those that scoff, claim that what was written was written after what was promised was already done. But God, being God, even before he laid the foundation of the Earth knew all, what might happen, and what will happen. So as Joseph suffered at the hands of his brethren, then also at the hands of the world (Egypt,) but was then lifted up, so too, did Jesus, the Son of God, our Savior suffer. As Joseph later reigned in Egypt, so too will Jesus return to reign on Earth. Watch, do we not now see things that just might foreshadow his coming? Amen.
