Today's verse is Exodus 15:24-25
And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them,
Yesterday, you saw a mighty work of God on your behalf, you walked across the bottom of the sea, the ground being dry, walls of water on either side and you came safely to the other side. Your enemy did not, but was destroyed by those same walls when they came crashing down. Today, having water, there is none to drink. What do you do? Do you complain as Israel did? Or knowing that God has already done a mighty work on your behalf, do you seek him yet again to see what he might do this time? Consider the request and prayer of Paul. . .
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
To God be the Glory
Scott
